Well I've had the Micra for two days now. Was frustrated at first since my 18 year old HX machine was so dialed in - I guess the old coffee grime, accumulated scale, and what have you was at the perfect place for me to pull decent shots! So this new machine took some getting used to. But then today - omg after going through a lot of coffee to redial I am finally getting really great results. And the steaming is revelatory. So, am I glad I got the Micra? Absolutely. She is a beautiful machine, built like a tank, and makes delicious coffee. That said, I am feeling a tad wistful about my old La Valentina. She served me well for so many years. But I do NOT miss the HX flushing routine! Everything is just streamlined, faster. Oh - and a whole lot quieter too! Over time I think I could up my speed considerably especially when making multiple milk based drinks. So while I feel a tad disloyal, I am really glad I made this switch! And it came delivered in less than a week - maybe because I got a yellow one! Very festive! Happily adding yellow accents to the kitchen now.
Ja mam ciągłe porównanie z SB e61 na korzyść Mikry. Ciekawe, czy po 10 latach, gdy kupię sobie, może, jakiś ekspres, to powiem, że robi lepsze potrójne espresso niż wiekowa Micra, jeśli oczywiście nie pójdzie wcześniej na złom.
