Hej, w palarnii White Label pojawiła się nowa geisha:
Panama - carmen estate geisha jeśli przynajmniej 10 osób będzie miało ochotę na tę kawę, to mogę Wam zaproponować ją w cenie 72zł plus koszty wysyłki po Polsce. Ja jeszcze jej nie próbowałem, zamiast moich wrażeń, wklejam wam opinię Elmera z White Label Coffee:
"There are two differences:
1. it’s grown in Panama
2. it’s processed washed instead of natural
We had it now once on the cupping table and it really stood out, again very high complexity. more floral (like washed ethiopia) than the natural and for me I felt it a little more. But I also prefer a washed Ethiopia over a natural. Because I think the washed Panama is a little less funky than the natural Ethiopia, but that of course makes total sense because of the processing. So I think it’s good to think of our new Gesha as the more complex version of a washed Ethiopia (and the natural Gesha we have as the more complex version of a natural Ethiopia).
That’s also what our recent Gesha’s have proven to me: that their complexity in blind cuppings is always showing, you can’t get around it, they are just the stars of the table. The price is much higher than any other coffee we have and I don’t think they are for example 3x better than a normal good Ethiopian washed or natural, but in my view, this increase in complexity takes a lot of extra time and focus in farm management and if you really like fruity complex coffees, this is the holy grail at the moment
"
Czas na chwilę zastanowienia zostawiam Wam do 10. listopada, czyli cały tydzień
